CERA Conference 2025
June 2025
The Chinese Educational Research Association (CERA) is delighted to announce the CERA Conference 2024 on “Climate Change, Sustainability and Learning: Interdisciplinary Perspectives”. In today’s world, the escalating impacts of global warming, resource depletion, and environmental degradation threaten the very fabric of our ecosystems and human societies. Addressing these challenges is crucial for ensuring a sustainable and equitable future. Learning plays a pivotal role in promoting climate change awareness and sustainability. It empowers individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to understand and tackle these pressing issues. Through effective learning, we can inspire action, drive behavioural change, and foster innovative solutions that contribute to a sustainable world.
We particularly encourage the adoption of interdisciplinary perspectives and/or intersections with the world beyond academia. Climate change and sustainability are multifaceted issues that require the integration of knowledge from various disciplines and sectors. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and engaging with diverse communities, we can develop more comprehensive and effective approaches to these global challenges.
CERA contributes to the critical research and discussion of Chinese Education in its broadest sense. We offer a platform for scholars, early-career professionals, students, and other interested academics to share their views and actively participate in debates.
